Deron has been with Universal Funding Corporation since becoming part owner in 1998. Deron has over a decade of experience in various business ventures most of which are weighted heavily in the business finance arena.

In 1997, Deron began as a sales manager for a small to mid-sized asset based lending company in Washington state, the company company became very cash positive due to his implementation of a strategic marketing program. Deron was shortly thereafter recruited for his advanced skills in cash flows at Universal Funding.

Deron resigned from the Marine Corps in 1997.
